I’ve not really been a necklace type of girl, sure I wear bracelets, rings and earrings.
I think maybe it’s a phase where I just haven’t been into jewellery for a while but that changed over the last few months during my blog research. I came across the Yellow and Blue Zara cord and chain necklace which I absolutely loved!!
So again began my search for the one…alas I was too late it was sold out in Zara- only available at extortionate prices on eBay (may hold out till the price drops)
Zara released a green and blue version – during my ummming and argggghing phase 2 weeks ago that too sold out.
I have downloaded the Zara app which shows all the latest releases online and I came across the red and black version.. Again sold out but this time I am hopeful as they will be back in stock soon and I have set up an email alert yay!!
Wohoo 3 weeks of waiting finally paid off – I was in Zara today and found the red/black version! Super excited…!!!
Summer of 2012 also know as Carnvial time or for those that know me birthday month!
I had seen these way back in Feb 2012 and as my birthday was coming up in June I just had to have them. When you see the Carnvial print python Louboutins you’ll understand too!
They are also known as colour splash heels. I wanted them in the Pigalle style but alas they were only available in Paris. The higher heel were available in Harvey Nics or the Bianca style in Selfridges.. I decided they were not to be…until I tried the lower version Piou Piou which fit like a glove!
I tried on two versions (turquoise splash at the front and a tan splash) thought about it for a few weeks as I do with any big important purchase!
If I’m not dreaming about them then they aren’t for me haha. Trust me these were worth it… Have had sooo many compliments on them.
I have recently fallen for OPI nail polishes over other trusted brands such as 60sec fast dry Rimmel or Nails Inc in the past.
However OPI is soo much more expensive but the quality is very good and long lasting!
I tried acrylic nails many times and each time the growing out phase took at least 3-6 months for my nail to grow back as they were painfully thin due to the process of infills and when they are removed.
Each time I promised myself never again and the next time there was a family wedding I found myself back in the nail salon.
Well not this time!
I recently went in for a quick file and polish change and tried a gourgous red from OPI.. It’s perfect and has lasted 5 days so far.
It’s been through alot in this weekend.. I put two beds back together nuts and bolts and using the Allen keys n no chipping!
The top clear coat is fading so have just topped up with OPI Top coat good as new!
Fall is the perfect season to wear skirts and cardigans to transition you gently into Winter.
A-Line Skirts is a style I didn’t think suited me and had avoid it in the past. However the red and pink combo of this skirt kept drawing me back for another try.
I love how vivid and bright the skirt is but it deserved something equally as dynamic on the top half of the outfit.
I paired it with my Karen Millen Zebra cardigan. The monochrome goes perfectly with the red and the cardigan has a very stylish rustic orange seam on the front with metal popper buttons.
Who says orange and red can’t mix.
A touch of Nars dragon red lippy and red OPI nails and off to work..
I love check prints and this grey and black check skirt has been a firm favourite of mine for fall. I purchased this a few years ago from Miss Selfridges, they always bring out a new check/tartan version every fall!
I wear mine with over knee socks with knee high boots or with these cute Zara ankle boots from a few years ago.
These Ankle boots with platform are also great for fall..
As Summer is over and we move into Fall- we have had a few lovely summer days where I felt like reaching out for my sunnies had I not lost my trusted ray-bans!!
In pursuit of the best sunnies for my face and newly very short haircut – it’s time to go classic!
I found the perfect pair from Chanel! Pearl bead on the side with the double CC logo and large oval shape frames
Alas they were too expensive and although I had hoped David Clulow were having a 20% off promo for fashion week it didn’t extend to Chanel..
I decided to venture out to Sunglasses Hut near Bond Street Station, London on my lunch break where I came home with these!
A cream dress can look very elegant and matched with a cardigan for spring or structured blazer in Fall can really pull an outfit together…
Mango dress available in cream, blue or black. A little detailing such as side draping n a touch of pleating on the shoulder really makes this a lovely dress – romantic dinner out or night out.
