Cream Dress

21 Sep

A cream dress can look very elegant and matched with a cardigan for spring or structured blazer in Fall can really pull an outfit together…

Mango dress available in cream, blue or black. A little detailing such as side draping n a touch of pleating on the shoulder really makes this a lovely dress – romantic dinner out or night out.

Another look you could try is the current trend of edge to edge blazer. I like this version in chiffon also from Miss Selfridges!

I am currently loving the Nautical theme, as I mentioned in my last post, love ASOS dresses as they come with belts.

My twist to a classic stripe nautical dress with Green colour blocking!

Nautical Outfit #1

16 Sep

My first Nautical themed outfit is with an amazing striped Peplum jacket which I found on a few bloggers sites.

Blogger 1 version Crazy Style Love

I love how the purple skirt pops against the stripes in the jacket.

There is just something about the timeless Chanel accessories that makes this outfit complete… Love the Chanel Sunglasses – next on my wishlist as David Clulow is currently running 20% of designer sunglasses for Fashion week until 18th Sept 2012!

Red belt and Yellow flats

Blogger 2 version

My next inspiration comes from Phiphi’s blog, she styled the same Zara stripe peplum jacket with a red patent belt and eye popping yellow flats.

Emerald Green – Louboutin

My take on this look is with Emerald Green Louboutin and an emerald green belt (similar to the one below) it came with a dress I bought from ASOS.

ASOS is great for selling dresses with belts -which can be used to pull together a new look on other outfits.

This look is one of my favorites – it combines a number of items from my wardrobe!

Firstly lets start from the bottom up!
A classic pair of pointy black heels adds a bit of sophistication – Pigalle in Black Leather by Louboutin.

Black Pigalle 100 – Louboutin

Black Skinny Jeans from Karen Millen a must have in every woman’s wardrobe

Red Peplum top from Zara – can be worn with a black pencil skirt for work, dressed up with black skinny jeans or casual with blue denim jeans.

Add a long necklace either a multi chain or double chain bead version – both from Forever 21

Lastly a cream jacket from Zara – can be worn as we move in to Fall or in the Spring when a light jacket is needed or preferred to a Winter Coat.
