I have recently fallen for OPI nail polishes over other trusted brands such as 60sec fast dry Rimmel or Nails Inc in the past.
However OPI is soo much more expensive but the quality is very good and long lasting!
I tried acrylic nails many times and each time the growing out phase took at least 3-6 months for my nail to grow back as they were painfully thin due to the process of infills and when they are removed.
Each time I promised myself never again and the next time there was a family wedding I found myself back in the nail salon.
Well not this time!
I recently went in for a quick file and polish change and tried a gourgous red from OPI.. It’s perfect and has lasted 5 days so far.
It’s been through alot in this weekend.. I put two beds back together nuts and bolts and using the Allen keys n no chipping!
The top clear coat is fading so have just topped up with OPI Top coat good as new!
Fall is the perfect season to wear skirts and cardigans to transition you gently into Winter.
A-Line Skirts is a style I didn’t think suited me and had avoid it in the past. However the red and pink combo of this skirt kept drawing me back for another try.
I love how vivid and bright the skirt is but it deserved something equally as dynamic on the top half of the outfit.
I paired it with my Karen Millen Zebra cardigan. The monochrome goes perfectly with the red and the cardigan has a very stylish rustic orange seam on the front with metal popper buttons.
Who says orange and red can’t mix.
A touch of Nars dragon red lippy and red OPI nails and off to work..
This look is one of my favorites – it combines a number of items from my wardrobe!
Firstly lets start from the bottom up!
A classic pair of pointy black heels adds a bit of sophistication – Pigalle in Black Leather by Louboutin.
Black Skinny Jeans from Karen Millen a must have in every woman’s wardrobe
Red Peplum top from Zara – can be worn with a black pencil skirt for work, dressed up with black skinny jeans or casual with blue denim jeans.
Lastly a cream jacket from Zara – can be worn as we move in to Fall or in the Spring when a light jacket is needed or preferred to a Winter Coat.
Whilst on my journey to work last week on the tube I noticed a fellow passenger wearing a gorgeous burgundy peplum top with a pleated neck, I wish I had asked her where it was from!
Alas I spent the next few days with my trusted Fashion stylists (AKA my laptop and iPhone) trying to locate the top..
I found a few similar tops on various blogger sites and also a very similar one from my favorite store Karen Millen in a thinner material in jersey but I wanted one with a bit more structure.
The actual top is from A Wear – can be found on Asos or from A Wear direct, but the colour is no longer available.
I bought this version after seeing it on a fellow blogger which is available from H&M.
Pics from Shout Out to you –
I will post updated pics when I wear mine next week!
